Filipe Sisson and Antonio Pignatari got to know up close the work carried out by the project created in partnership with the BW Institute
The headquarters of iGUi Ecologia, in Araruama (RJ), received this Thursday, May 5, a visit from the company’s directors. The presence of the CEO, Filipe Sisson; and the Commercial Director, Antônio Pignatari, is considered an official milestone in the work of conservation and rehabilitation of wild animals that has been taking place for two years at the project’s headquarters.
Currently, iGUi Ecologia has two veterinarians: Paula Baldassin, Project Coordinator and President of the BW Institute, and her husband, Max Werneck, Vice President. PhD in Chemical Oceanography at the Marine Organic Chemistry Laboratory of the Oceanographic Institute – USP. At the headquarters, about 150 birds, more than 235 mammals and 32 reptiles have already been attended by researchers and scientists sponsored by iGUi, which also count on the participation of the Center for the Rehabilitation of Wild Animals (CRAS) in the Lagos region. “This project is a source of pride for all of us, who are very concerned about the environment”, stated Filipe.
