Considering the critical situation of the environment, especially of water resources in the world and, consequently, in Brazil. iGUi created iGUi Ecology!
However, the action could not be carried out only in water resources, but also with the fauna and flora related to them, so several campaigns and events were created to raise awareness of the population and public authorities!
Every year, five undergraduate students receive a scientific initiation grant to carry out water-related research! The scholarship lasts for one year and students from all over Brazil are covered! Many of them have already received awards for best scientific initiation at scientific congresses and meetings.
For children, many environmental education activities are carried out, both at events and in public and private schools! We bring people and students teaching materials that help them understand what is happening to our environment and how we can change it. But that’s not all, on the iguiecologia.com website you can also find many games, such as origamis, connect-the-dots, word searches and coloring games to do at home with the kids!!
In addition, iGUi Ecology supports the BW Institute’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (CRAS-BW) in the recovery of debilitated wildlife. Since its inauguration, more than 230 animals have been treated, many of which have been returned to their natural environment
