iGUi, global leader in the manufacture and commercialization of fiberglass-reinforced polyester (PRFV) pools, it also ranks 1st among franchises in the Home and Construction segment in the country. The information is part of the study by the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF) on the Profile of the 50 Largest Franchises in Brazil by Units. In its fourth edition, the survey released this Wednesday (1/22) by the entity covered the largest networks in 11 segments for the first time.

Celebrating 25 years of history this year, the iGUi franchisor has more than 800 units in more than 50 countries on five continents. In Brazil alone, there are 309 pool stores distributed throughout the national territory.

The company has more than 100 items in its portfolio. Very vertical, iGUi manufactures the most diverse products for the leisure area. There are pools in various models and sizes, including semi-pellets and tablets, highlighting UNLIMITED (a different concept of pool that combines versatility and technology, suitable for the most demanding projects), filters, accessories, furniture, among other items.

Synonymous with swimming pool, iGUi is also the most internationalized franchise in Brazil according to ABF itself, having received the 1st International Franchise Certificate granted by the entity in 2019. Currently, the brand has 222 units abroad, according to ABF data, among factories – master franchises in Argentina, Paraguay, Mexico, Portugal and the United States – and swimming pool stores.

In the balance of 2019, iGUi recorded a 5% growth in its turnover in Brazil, which was of the order of R? 423,787 million. On the other hand, revenue reached R? 72.058 million, totaling R? 495.845 million. The chain plans to open 25 new stores in the country this year.
