Bittencourt Group study, specializing in franchising, outlines franchisors’ “strong organizational culture” and “transformative leadership” profile
São Paulo, October 1, 2019 – iGUi – the world’s largest manufacturer of fiberglass-reinforced polyester (PRFV) pools – was one of the companies featured in the 6th edition of the Top 25 Brazilian Franchising, promoted by the Bittencourt Group, which This year awarded the franchisors from all over the country who contributed to building the profile of the Organizational Culture and the Leaders of Brazilian Franchising. The winners were announced during the 10th International Franchise & Business Network Management Forum, this Tuesday, October 1st, at Teatro Santander, Shopping JK Iguatemi, in São Paulo.
Between July and August of this year, the Bittencourt Group carried out an unprecedented study with relevant themes for the development of franchise networks focused on the theme Organizational Culture and Leadership. By participating in the online study, franchisors became eligible for the award and went through the careful evaluation of retail leaders, franchises and expert consultants to define the winners, ie, the 25 companies that stood out in the theme defined for the 2019 edition.

Educational Launch – iGUi University
Scheduled for release in the second half of October 2019, iGUi intends to make available to the franchised network, through distance learning, knowledge related not only to the iGUi and TRATABEM universe, but also to diverse and important subjects for personal and professional improvement, as people management, financial market, behavior, among others.
Fully digital, the University will be available through the Moodle Distance Education Platform (ODL) – a reference in Brazil, used by major national corporate universities – developed by the University of São Paulo (USP).
The classes will be structured in modules for each subject, such as: Chemistry, Electrical, Hydraulics, Social Networks, Finance and People Management. There will also be content that involves everything related to excellence in service, how to work with social media, how to control finances, productivity, how to make a business plan, among others. The platform will also have short videos with practical tips and clarifying everyday doubts. “iGUi franchisees and their teams will now have an excellent opportunity for professional and personal improvement, completely free of charge. In addition to all the technical content, the iGUi University will promote people’s development, ”explains Lilian Marques, TRATABEM director and project creator.
The iGUi University will expand the scope of the face-to-face training offered by the franchisor – which remains mandatory for the franchisee joining the network -, benefiting all employees. “For some time now, we have intensified the on-site training, both technical and logistic, tripled the staff and the intensity of training, conducted over five days. In addition, we have workshops in factories, once held once, now four to five times a year, in the fifteen master franchises, ”says Lilian.
According to Lilian, iGUi has always been a university, offering theoretical and practical training every month, every week, at headquarters and in the master franchises. The project developed a year ago for training in ODL methodology was designed for those who cannot do it in person at iGUi itself.
The platform can be accessed wherever and whenever the user wants, whether on the computer, tablet or mobile, on Android and iOS systems. “The online corporate university will be alive with new content releases every week. The courses will be free and obey the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, with certificates recognized by the MEC ”, explains Lilian Marques.
