For those looking to invest in their own business, the franchising market in Rio de Janeiro has become an excellent showcase of opportunities. The Home & Construction segment grew 9.1% in the last half and 6% in the quarter. This was one of the factors that drove the iGUi Group’s networks to participate in one of the most important franchise fairs in Latin America, which takes place from September 12 to 14, at the Sulamérica Convention Center.

The iGU Group – the world’s largest 24-year-old manufacturer and marketer of fiberglass-reinforced polyester (PRFV) swimming pools, brings to the Franchising ABF Rio 2019, a compact franchise model. Identified as a container type model, the TRATABEM Store can be installed in locations where conventional units do not reach, such as parking lots, toll booths, gas stations and even within large retail chains. According to the network’s expansion director, Lilian Marques, the expansion project for the state is very optimistic. “We have prepared special conditions for the acquisition of a TRATABEM for those who visit our booth during Expo Franchising ABF Rio,” he explains.

The brand booth at the fair will have a TRATABEM store in container type. Manufactured by iGUi itself, the store has 15m², is made of sturdier stainless steel profiles, has seals on two fiberglass blades, filled inside with glass wool (insulating material), to ensure the acoustic comfort . With an innovative design, the store also has a lighted panel on the inner ceiling. The store can be installed at gas stations, galleries, mall parking lots and large retail chains. In some cases, the franchisee can easily count on having negotiated the value of the space lease, thanks to iGUi’s partnerships with these networks.

Swimming pools, service and maintenance services for pools have synergy with the Rio de Janeiro region, precisely due to the high temperatures. According to Lilian Marques, director of TRATABEM, the demands of skilled labor are increasing, so the franchise fair in the state of Rio de Janeiro tends to boost those looking to invest in a business. “We offer hydraulic, electrical and chemical training. Our mission is to professionalize the market, offering know-how and conditions so that they can invest in our franchise,” he explains.

TRATABEM, a franchise created in 2012 and unique in Brazil specializing in the treatment, technical assistance, maintenance and sale of products for all types of pools, has 13 stores in operation in the state, 5 in the capital. The projection by the end of 2019 is that the state of Rio de Janeiro will receive 5 more iGUi units and 10 TRATABEM units. IGUi operates with 29 franchised pool stores in the state, nine in the capital. Three factories supply the region, Itaboraí, Campos dos Goytacazes and Guaratinguetá.

“We have built a strong brand based on credibility, quality products and all the infrastructure necessary for the manufacture and distribution of swimming pools, filters, chemicals and accessories for the leisure area. These factors together result in a profitable business model that offers excellent excellence. value for money, quality products and services that build customer loyalty, “said Filipe Sisson, founder and president of iGUi.

Sustainability

Fully focused on sustainability and the preservation of natural resources, the TRATABEM store does not require work (less CO² emission), as it arrives ready to its place of installation. Its structure is lighter because it is made of fiberglass and to eliminate the waste of materials, the leftovers are used as reinforcement for swimming pools. In addition, the store can be installed in places where electricity can be shared (gas stations, supermarkets and other retail chains), and does not require hydraulic installation, since it shares the existing one. In addition to the TRATABEM store, iGUi pools are also sustainably manufactured. Produced in GRP, all iGUis have a filtration system that consumes less water, electricity and its manufacture emits 32 times less CO² (carbon dioxide) than traditional pools. In addition, iGUi does not require major works, as the installation time takes up to 2 days, depending on the conditions of the work or project, which generates significant savings in materials and labor. The iGUi also offers a 15 year warranty.

“The ABF fair in Rio de Janeiro meets all the necessary conditions for the meeting between the brands and potential entrepreneurs. With a huge, qualified public and excellent infrastructure for us to do good business, we have high expectations at the fair, from which we participated for several consecutive years “, says Lilian Marques, director of TRATABEM.

The iGUi Group’s brands hold important awards, such as 5 stars in the 2019 Best Franchising Award in Brazil and ABF Featured Franchising of the Year and Franchisee of the Year Award.
